Access to potable water continues to be a challenge in many areas of Los Cabos. Incoming municipal water is traditionally sent just once a week to our neighborhood, however leaks or maintenance problems with the municipal desalination plant can often contribute to additional delays. Water shortages require the purchase of trucked-in water. To take full advantage of incoming, municipal water, Casa Hogar has invested into a project to increase onsite water storage by 10,000 gallons. Six new water cistern tanks will replace the current, decaying concrete cistern. Sponsorship of the water tanks was provided by the US-based charity, Amigos Near and the construction of the concrete platform set on the high point of the property was sponsored by employees of ProEquities. We are so very grateful for these contributions that will ensure municipal water availability is fully maximized. Thank you!
