18-year-old Romina departed our onsite transition housing in the spring. We were honored to be invited to be in “her corner” for her high school graduation. It was a challenging final semester for Romina who also juggled full-time employment with her academic responsibilities. She was very proud of her achievement and relieved to have her high school behind her. Do you remember that feeling?
Our staff also arranged a party onsite to comemorate the closure of the school year celebrating the hard work of all the students. The party featured games, music, dancing and outdoor dinner in our courtyard space.
